Flying
saucers
in ABSCON!!!
Introduction:
Abscon is a town of about 4.000 inhabitants, located
in the middle of the coal field of
Northen France. Nothing
extraordinary which can attract tourists or aliens. The peace of a village of
the broad mass of French people ....But if we are interested in flying saucers
and if we dare to speak about it in our neighborhood, we are surprised by the
number of observations and by the variety of these last ones .Here is a small
outline of my harvest!
1-One evening at
the stadium

«
I saw, at the stadium of Abscon , on a summer evening of the year 2000, during
a training match of football, something that looked like a flying pancake, with lights turning
around, green, yellow, red and two blue circles under the saucer which
has crossed at 500 metres over our heads, just like a plane but without a
noise.
It is our referee who saw it first....My
companion Samuel Landas, who is here, was playing near me and saw exactly the same thing). »
2-Followed by a flying saucer! ( Loïc Bouchard):
« I was with my mother in car. It was later than
10 in the evening. We had just visited
my grandmother who lives on the other side of Abscon. We were driving towards
Mastaing; after the church, we saw a saucer which was flying over our car, at a dozen metres or a little more .It was
following us! We saw only yellow lights as portholes .... The saucer had a sort
of searchlight which did not shine down to the ground and which threw a blue
purple light .My mother ,who was driving fast, turned in a dead end after the
crossing and stopped). The saucer stopped some seconds then left towards
Aniche (westward) .This encounter took place by 1990.... I was then very young
but I remember well this saucer. »
3- A brilliant ball in the sky … ( Teddy Raoult):
« I was with my friend Karim in my room , in n°78
street Van Coppenolle in Abscon .It was a
summer night ,in 1999, near midnight. We perceived through the window a
big light of a blue-deep color , it was far from us towards Denain (eastward)
… It was rather low .The sky was
illuminated around the brilliant ball . We had been looking at it during approximately one hour, then it has
gone up slowly upward the sky and
suddenly everything went out .Incredible! »
4-Mysterious
beams of light … (Antoine Gary):
« It was in 1997, I was 8 years old. I was with
my sister Bérangère who was 20 years old then . We were in the lounge of our
house situated at n° 37 in Van Coppenolle street .Il was about 8 o'clock in the evening and it was in winter.
We saw four big pencils of rays coming from the sky and striking the terrace ,
they had about 50 centimeters in diameter.
When I moved to the window to see better,the pencils of rays went out … I made
it several times and they went out every time. My sister went on sitting and
when I did not see any more pencils she said that she still saw
them . I went out when everything went out and I noticed nothing . It was
incredible!!! »
5-An immense Saucer which passes in the sky of midnight!!! (Madam Gary)
« It was during summer, 1994. I was on our
terrace and I was chattering with my neighbour, Mrs Founou.... It was a
magnificent summer and, in spite of late hour, around midnight, we went
on speaking about everything and about
nothing.... Suddenly, a shadow covered the neighborhood. We
automatically raised the head and perceived an immense saucer
sliding in the sky, coming from Aniche (on the West) and going to
Denain (in the East).... Lights were running around this impressive mass....
All this noiselessly, during a dozen seconds.... Then, the machine rose
straight ahead to the sky and disappeared in one
or two seconds.... Unforgettable!!! »
Note by J.Glapa: I also spoke
withMrsFounou who confirmed this observation. Besides, she confided me that
there are some 40 years (in 1954?) she lived with her parents, near the
water tower of Abscon.... One morning, at about 10 am, she was at a window and
she saw ) a small flying saucer which shaved roofs without any noise and
which disappeared in some seconds....
Conclusion:
I am anxious to indicate that these are not the only observations
about which people spoke to me . Here are still some more ones :
- a storekeeper observed
during long minutes, with his wife, a strange brilliant ball situated towards
Denain, one evening when they drove their car in the garage.
- my neighbour, very opened
and brilliant handyman, observed something similar in similar conditions.
- an old lady, a relative of
Mrs Founou, saw crossing, level with her house, a brilliant red ball.
- A farmer discovered, some long years ago, a
crop-circle in one of his fields but all the internal part was in ashes.
- Etc. .etc .etc.
In brief, in a village which has nothing extraordinary, often extraordinary things happen
.THEY ARE EVERYWHERE!!!
