INTRODUCTION
A Canadian ufologist, Donald CYR, generously sent me a
remarkable book, in this October 2003. I have just read it and re. read it .Although published already in September
1966, it revets a major importance for me.. It is Henri BORDELEAU, a pioneer of
the ufology in Canada, that had the incredible happiness to see, in the
sky of Montreal, arrive a flotilla of flying saucers coming from the space.
His observation allows us to
understand the numerous observations of a sometimes enormous number of
saucers in past. ( see my Historical
Testimonies). He also enlightens particular
cases as the one that I presented in my article « Ufos in clouds » .Indeed,
the observation of the sky in this last case allowed me to extrapolate that
there was not only a single spaceship over the aerodrome of Le Mans in
1942 but also a real squadron of vessels hidden in the numerous cumuluses which
moved at the same time as the machine hovering through the airport, as a craft also hidden in its cloud.
An American observation of the
same year 1942 comes to confirm my
suppositions.
In the site (http: //

1942, in August. While in the
Salomon Islands(Pacific)US Marine
Corp Sgt Stephen J Brickn sighted a
staggering 150 Ufos laid out in
virtually an enormous rectangle. They were
in rows of 15 objects long by 10 objects deep.

And it is this incredible
similar formation that Henri Bordeleau had, in 1966, the luck to observe
.That’s the reason why he wrote his book. I leave him the word:
« This book is the crystallization of 17 years of
curiosity for a phenomenon which seemed at first to hold some whim but
which it is henceforth necessary to take seriously: that of flying
saucers .Seventeen years of curiosity rewarded by an incredible fate which
allowed me to make in 25 seconds the synthesis of all we had observed about these mysterious
vessels of the space for 25 years
and to imagine the immense consequenses
of these cosmic visits for the whole humanity ».
Chapter: The Saucers arrive....
After the presentation of about his 40 past inquiries, the author approaches his personal
observation.
SAUCERS ARRIVE
We are on Monday April 25th,
1966. It is cold and still clearly.
I walk slowly, street
Hochelaga, by looking at the sky over the lit lanterns. I am 200
feet of the street corner
when, suddenly, over a house, appears an intense emerald green
"light". As a fire of traffic but more brilliant.
This "ball" seems to
fall slightly towards the left to stand up then towards the right-hand side, of an angle of 50 or 45 degrees,
very slowly. .
~A brilliant little point appears suddenly at the
back of the ball »... For a moment, I think:
“A plane which is turning... ». But the green "ball"
is far too much big and too brilliant; I understand that I have a
" saucer » in front of my eyes!
The sky is clear
and of a beautiful blue pale cobalt;
terribly moved, I stop and I try not to

terrify me and to retain everything.
The “saucer “ rises always, slowly, in line ~ with a
sort of majesty.
Suddenly. In
approximately 100 degrees, brilliant and gold-coloured points appear from
the back of the "ball" in regular rows. As if we shelled
them, four or five rows of seven or eight points, at first ejected as
parachutes released by a plane ., these points turn then in dark red, by slowing down, to go out as
brands ....
It looks like the pyrotechnic called « falls the Niagara ». There is no disorder; I note that one or two of these
points seem to by-pass the other one, as to put itself on-line.
This golden rain forms a sort of tail without point,
when brands go out all, about in the same place, by slowing down ( the second
phase)...
Saucers! Thirty or forty saucers!...
It is exactly eight o'clock, sixteen minutes (my watch
has 32 seconds beforehand on Washington).
Suddenly, the light goes out. Then, forward, five or
six small brilliant, gold-coloured discs,
spread fan-shaped, followed each of a tiny line of brownish smoke... Saucers-pilots?
I run about twenty feet to follow up to the end the phenomenon; the small discs
light yellow turn in the dark red and disappear ..... All this lasted, in
everything, twenty or twenty five seconds, since the appearance of the "ball" of fire, to the
left, and the disappearance of the small discs, to the right.
~ Then,
nothing more, except a trail of whitish smoke, as luminescent, with a
swelling
in the middle, in
the place where went out the brilliant little points of the beginning. The
swelling seems to pulse, a
little as a fluorescent lamp that we switch on .....
I have just attended an event so important for the
humanity, as the discovery of the fire and the wheel; and nevertheless, street
Hochelaga, nothing changed... The fires of traffic continue to flash. The
automobiles to run and the children to play...
I watch the trail of smoke beating as a heart — the line is always right, very
visible.
I enter a nearby restaurant to phone at home but the
line is occupied. I jump up outside the restaurant; the smoke is always there,
but it does not beat any more, and, deformed by winds, in four half circles,
dissolves slowly.
It is happy that I
could not take photos because, by wanting to take photos, I would have, by aiming, certainly missed to
observe the phases of the phenomenon.
I needed
a dozen seconds to be sure that they were SAUCERS and not just one saucer that I saw....
... It is only for
the appearance of the brilliant points, behind
the ball, that I was sure to have seen Several grouped saucers ..
« A BRILLIANT OBJECT IN THE SKY OF
VALLEYFIELD...

On returning to the house, I phone
the post CJMS to know if somebody had indicated the passage of
mysterious objects in the sky.
« Yes! As it is answered me. It
is not a saucer... It is the rocket which left Valleyfield. Listen to the news
in some minutes. »
The news of C.J.M.S ., at 8 am and 30, gave the
following information: « all
the telephone lines of the posts of radio and the airport of Dorval are
literally congested by the calls of thousand persons who declare to have seen a
strange ball of fire crossing the sky of the metropolitan region. Someone
thinks it is a flying saucer. We have just been told that it would be rather the rocket which has
just been launched by the region of Valleyfield. »
The next day, in April 26th, the newspaper The Press published in the second
page ( metropolitan edition) an article of which here are some extracts:
«-. . Hundreds of persons were witnesses, yesterday evening, of the passage
of some "object" in the sky of the province, more exactly, between
Vailleyfield and Drummondville.
« The
object was perceived in the region of Valleyfleld first of all, after 8:10 a .m
yesterday evening. According to the testimonies of several hundreds of persons
of Valleyfleld, Hemrningford, Huntingdon Châteauguay, Beauharnois, Dorion and
the other places, a mysterious oval shape amounted in the sky to a vertiginous
speed, stood still. Then pursued its road to disappear...
However, to the Canadian
Industries Limited, at Njtro in suburb of Valleyfleld only likely place
where a rocket could result from, they
revealed that they had proceeded to no experiment of the kind during the evening
of yesterday. »
In its last edition, The Press published another very interesting article:
In 15 STATES AND TWO PROVINCES, A " BRILLIANT OBJECT
" CAUSED EMOTION.
« .It was even seen at the same
moment by Torontois. as if it was over the lake Ontario, what lets conclude
that " the object " was very high all the same in the sky...

The president of the
planetarium Hayden in NewYork declared that the meteor was exceptionally glittering.
~ Dr.
Thomas D. Nicholson said that he saw the phenomenon, from his home, at
Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey, adding that on its passage, a track of fluorescent
gas lived during a dozen minutes.
• “ I would
estimate the magnitude of the meteor at least 10 or 12 he says, what
means that it would be 100 times as big as that of Venus as this one is most brilliant, and
approximately 10.000 times as big as that of Sirius, the most brilliant
star which we can see at night. »
Certain observers asserted
that it could not involve
a meteor because the object was visible at least a dozen second furthermore
than a meteor is visible usually.”.

Squadrons of Flying saucers!!!!
On about twenty pages Henri Bordeleau
exposes all the newspaper articles
appeared following this event and to conclude:
« Here is most of
what reported newspapers in the days
which followed the event.
If I had not attended
the arrival of saucers I would never
have been capable for seeing clear through this avalanche of
contradictory events. »
As a
conscientious ufologist, he collects then six inquiries of
this observation testifying of the authenticity of what he saw … I shortly
indicate them:
1-
Mr. Thomas Nicolson, president of the
Planetarium Hayden in New York.
2-
The captain O.U, the airline pilot.
3-
M.John Calabrisi,
vice-president of the Society of Astronomy of the County of Bromine.
4-
The Captain K.M, the airline pilot.
5-
SAINT THYMOTHÉE'S M.B.G, age 54, petrol pump
attendant.
6-
M.P.C, insurance broker, a man of about
sixty years.
The conclusion of his inquiry, he presents it
in the page 102;
« Since about
twenty years, we know that mysterious machines crossed the heavens of all the
countries .We baptized them "saucers" or Ufos (un-
identified flying objects). But what we did not know and I discovered, it is
that these saucers, when they travel between planets, they are in
packages, in squadrons and that we were able for 25 years to confuse these squadrons with fireballs or aerolites,
when they arrive in the Earth atmosphere. »
P. 105; » what I saw on April 25th, 1966, in 8h.15 in
the evening, is not a meteorite … »
P. 108; « that to conclude? Simply that I saw
arriving about forty saucers come from another world and which flew in
forming like a squadron of planes. »
P. 110; « this
arrival which I attended is far from being unique . I am persuaded that the
pseudo-meteorite perceived previous Friday was the other one; furthermore
I found track in my collection of cuts and in the library
of " Montreal Star " of a dozen similar arrivals since
the war 1939-1945. »
Conclusion by Joseph Glapa.
We shall stop this long inquiry old of about 40 years now; but
always of current events .I do not share, however, the enthusiastic
conclusion of H.Bordeleau who thinks that the extraterrestrials are very
human, good, generous beings and that they are « to open us the
doors of the Universe. »
The arrivals of saucers owed since millenniums
and these visits which want to be discreet marked certainly profoundly our past
and present civilizations.... it would only be by this deep idea of people to want another heavenly world
after their death. Quite recently, the horrifying mutilations arisen in
Argentina and somewhere else are however there to show that we also have
to deal with guests who have certainly
other concerns and not the redemption of our perverse civilization.
However, I applaud both hands when he stigmatizes
the stupidity of the big of this world .It is the case on the page 13 of his
book:
« Are flying saucers the ridiculous fruit
of disordered imaginations? Certain scientific authorities assert it.
But history proves us that it is often
necessary to take the historic words and the grandiloquent statements with a
spice of common sense; here is the history which is current in Russia, as
it is said, since the walking in the space of the astronaut Alexeî Leonov:
« In his descent of the cabin Leonov is snatched
by the secretary of the communist party, Alexandre Brejnev:
« Say to me, companion Leonov, when
you walked above, did you see angels? »
_Yes, answers the nice cosmonaut.
- Ah, I suspected it! But especially say
it to nobody!
The next day, Leonov is celebrated .Toasts …
Vodka … Ovations … Suddenly he feels caught by the sleeve.: it is the
great patriarch Alexis who pulls him in a corner, far from the bustle:
-Tell me, Alexei my son, to me alone …
When you walked above, did you see angels?
- No! Answers Leonov firmly.
- I knew it .BUT PLEASE!! SAY IT to
NOBODY!!! »
